Tasting Notes

A richly expressive rum from Barbados heavyweights Foursquare, distilled in a combination of column and pot stills. The nose leads with coconut mushroom sweets, warm toffee and singed oak. The palate is layered with buttery pastries, espresso crema, dark fruits and muscovado. Beneath this there's a tropical depth of ripe pineapple, balanced by a lift of charred barrel spice. The finish stretches out with toasted coconut, molasses and prickly nutmeg.

Distillery Information

Foursquare Distillery is a fourth-generation, family-owned Barbadian rum producer run by the Seale family, led today by master distiller Richard Seale. Rooted in the traditional rum-making heritage of Barbados but never bound by it, their ethos is simple: innovate without losing sight of what came before. They blend classic methods (pot and column distillation, long tropical ageing) with a modern commitment to transparency, authenticity, and rum made without added sugar, colouring, or flavourings.
