Our London Dry Gin has been a sought after spirit since it was first listed on our price list in 1909. It is little wonder that “Berrys’ Gin” is referred to in David Embury’s seminal work The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks as an example of superior British gin production.
During prohibition, small shipments of Berry Bros. & Rudd Gin found their way to the USA. Thereafter, in the 50’s and 60’s, our London Dry Gin continued to be sold in small amounts to special customers such as the iconic film director, Frank Capra.
Just one bottle of this original London Dry Gin remains. Armed with a vial of this precious liquid our expert team have recreated the taste profile using a proprietary recipe of 4 botanicals: Juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root and winter savory.
